Our transition from brasserie to steakhouse was not a sudden change, but a natural refinement that came to life in 2025. Over time, the Josper grill had become the heart of our kitchen, allowing us to honour premium beef, fresh seafood, and seasonal Dutch ingredients with precision, intensity, and character. The shift simply brought our identity into sharper focus.

Today, Carstens Steakhouse represents the most refined expression of who we have always been. Still rooted in Dutch flavours. Still guided by responsible sourcing and the craft of our producers. But now elevated, centred on premium cuts, fire‑driven cooking, and a culinary approach that reflects both maturity and intention.
